antics and presence in the first film of another successful early 90s series about an undercover cop looking for a lost gun at a private school. Blending action comedy and Chow’s wordplay and mo lei tau instincts, this film works due to the chemistry of the school group as well as the interactions and interplay between Chow and his nemesis Ng Man Tat. The romantic subplot of Chow and the always beautiful Sharla Cheung Man adds to the experience. All in all, this is how blockbuster Hong Kong cinema should be filmed and a great start to a lovely series. Instant classic to behold.
