Park Chan Wook managed to outdid himself in the latest sensual, sexual, lesbian crime thriller that is ultra vivid, brutal and shocking. Running at an epic 148 minutes, Park manages to sustain erotic tension throughout and in turn allowing Kim Min Hee and Tae Ri Kim to deliver their career best and most daring performance to date. The sex scenes between the two is easily the best since Blue is the Warmest Colour and the chemistry simply radiates off the screen and long after the credits are rolling. Ha Jung Woo provides adequate supporting and his final scenes of agony is simply a joy to watch. The film is set out in parts and each section tells us a different side to the story. This approach keeps the audience at the edge of their seats. This is a visually stunning film and easily a feast for the eyes. Don’t miss out!
I rate it 5 out of 5.
